Fancy news, good people! Next week my mom and I are going to be on The Ricki Lake Show! It’s an episode about gay parents. We’ll be talking about my blog, stand-up act, and how awesome my mom is. You should watch so you can make fun of the haircut I let them give me 5 minutes before the show.
And if that’s not enough, Rosie O’Donnell will be discussing her role as a gay parent advocate, and Dan Bucatinsky, the actor on ABC’s hit show “Scandal” will be talking about his book, “Does This Baby Make Me Look Straight?”
It’s probably going to be awkward. Hopefully, it’ll be funny.
Please tell your mother that this gay dad is proud of her, and that she’s done a damn good job from what I can see.
I will pass that along to Mom and thank you for the kindness, good sir. I might also share this with my wife, who says the jury is still out on my mom’s results with me (smiley face emoticon)
